By enrolling in any of my classes, you agree to be responsible for your own wellbeing, partaking in classes sensibly and safely, working within your own abilities and under the guidance of your teacher. I will require a completed enrolment form for any health changes and from all new clients joining any of my classes.
-
You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with your ability to exercise safely, please seek advice from a relevant medical professional before attending any classes.
-
No liability is accepted for any loss and/or damage suffered by you where the cause of this loss and/or damage is your own fault, caused by any third party unconnected with the services provided by me or something that could not have been reasonably foreseen having taken all reasonable care.
-
No liability is accepted for any loss of or damage of any articles, which you may bring with you to classes. Equally, liability is not accepted for loss or damage to motor vehicles, bikes or their contents and these are left at the owner’s risk.
-
Please keep me updated with any changes to your details e.g. email address, contact number, health issues, injuries etc.
-
All communication that I use outside of classes is via email to inform you of next class dates and any other information. This may come via GymCatch or directly from myself. You may be contacted by text or WhatsApp as well as email for more time sensitive reasons such as studio changes or class cancellation. Please ensure you provide me with the best email address and contact number for such purposes (please check that my emails do not end up in your spam/junk folders particularly with work email addresses that have firewalls which may block emails).
-
Some of my emails may be in the form of a newsletter, which is sent via my website www.charlottemurraypilates.co.uk. You will only receive these newsletters if you are either a current client, you have asked to be placed on a waiting list, or you have signed up to my mailing list. You are able to opt out at any time. If you no longer take classes with me and are not signed up to my mailing list, you will cease to receive my newsletters.
GROUP PILATES STUDIO CLASSES
-
Each class block (of usually 5, 6 or 7 weeks) is referred to as a “course”. Courses must be paid for in full in advance of the start date, to ensure your place is reserved in class. Unless full payment is received, your place is not secure and may be released to the waiting list.
-
Payment is to be made via GymCatch or via BACS. When booking your classes you are booking and paying for the whole course. Once you have signed up for a class your place is reserved for that specific course day and time. The option of a paid trial session is available for new clients.
-
If you are unable to attend your regular studio class because of holiday, illness or any other reason, you may catch up in another of my sessions, space permitting. If you cancel your booking via your GymCatch account more than 12 hours before the start of the session you will be automatically refunded by the gifting of a One Class Credit bundle. Your Class Credit bundle can be used to book into an alternative session, space-permitting. Please cancel any unsuitable session times as early as possible to allow others the opportunity to swap into these sessions using their Class Credit bundles. Class Credit bundles are valid for three months from date of issue*.
-
Class Credits cannot be used in lieu of payment to book into future courses *and will expire if you are no longer signed up to a course regardless of whether three months have passed.
-
Prerecorded On Demand video classes may be made available to those unable to find a suitable alternative face to face session.
-
In the event of class cancellation due to adverse weather conditions e.g. extreme heat, snow and ice etc, I will endeavor to reschedule the class to another time and no refund will be given. In the event I am unable to teach a class, an alternative teacher will be provided. If an alternative teacher is unavailable, you will receive One Class Credit and the option of a prerecorded On Demand video class.
-
If, before the block starts, you are no longer able to attend the block, please email charlottemurraypilates@gmail.com as soon as possible. If notification is received more than 48h before the start of term, a full refund will be offered minus a £10 administration fee. If less than 48 hours notice is given, a £20 administration fee will be deducted. Refunds cannot be offered once the term block has started and payment cannot be carried over to the next term other than in extreme circumstances, which will be at the discretion of Charlotte Murray Pilates. You will need to cancel each individual session booking manually via GymCatch and any automatic credits awarded will be removed.
PRIVATE ONE-TO-ONE AND DUET SESSIONS (IN STUDIO OR IN YOUR OWN HOME)
-
Full payment is required in advance of your first session.
-
Sessions may be rearranged at no additional cost provided this is done with no less than 24 hours notice. Any cancellations or requested amendments within 24 hours of your booking will be treated as a completed session and you will not be entitled to a refund or to reschedule.
-
In the event of class cancellation due to teacher illness or adverse weather conditions e.g. extreme heat, snow and ice etc, I will endeavor to reschedule the class to another time and no refund will be given.
